I had the honor this past May of spending a week in the shop of Wimmer Performance in Myrtle Beach. For those of you who might know Lee Wimmer, you’ll understand what I’m saying, but if you haven’t the pleasure of meeting him, do so. There are many great builders & talented machinists in this industry, and Lee is clearly one of them. To be just inches away from him while removing metal using a lathe from a new component thread hair by thread hair until perfect… amazing.  I’m not just talking about machining, he has an incredible ability to design components that function as wonderful as they look.
